In appreciation of commendable service to our center and our community, we recognize the following organizations and individuals for their ongoing support.
We extend a special thank you, to ongoing support of our partners Merrill Gardens of the North Bay, Merrill Gardens at Vallejo, Meyer Corporation and the Times Herald, who provided the support, coordination and staff to make our June 14, 2008 carnival fundraiser possible and a success.
Our admiration and gratitude to the city councilmember's who helped make a difference at our carnival fundraiser by getting dunked in cold-dunk-tank, Stephanie Gomes, Tony Pearsall, Tom Bartee, and Hermie Sunga.
Thank you, to the generosity of our new partners; The Millennium Sports Club of Vallejo, Evergreen-In Home Care, Oakdale Heights-Dementia Care and Westwind Gardens-Assisted Living.
We give special recognition to organizations that support our center and it's mission, on our website at www.vallejoseniorcenter.com. We are pleased to announce that we have another "new partner" that will be included on our website's partnership page the Vallejo Rotary Club, which donated a very generous $2,500 in support of our services and programs, recently.

Individual and Corporate Partners

The Vallejo Senior Citizens' Council Inc. has operated the Florence Douglas Senior Center a 501 c 3 non-profit, public charities since 1974. The City of Vallejo provides our center with our facility at 333 Amador Street for a rental fee of $1.00 per year, plus water, and 15% of our current operating budget. The center raises the additional 85% of their budget through, class fees, bingo, special events, donations, and corporate partnerships.

Individual Donations:
Individuals can make monetary donations to Florence Douglas Senior to support the operations of the center. Please make your tax-deductible contribution to the Florence Douglas Senior Center either by mail or in person.
